I FIGURED OUT A LOT OF STUFF.

I figured out a lot of stuff these past four days.

I figured out how to get 30 power stars on the first floor on Super Mario 64 DS, I figured how to get second place on the 150cc Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart Wii, and I figured out how to put items into my Mario Kart game on the computer.

On a side note, I had a scout campout with my whole scout troop. I showed them some of my games, and then we watched a movie, and sat in the hot tub while my dad (who wasn't in the hot tub) talked to us about camping, for the Camping merit badge. (If anyone wants to know, I'm a Life scout.) Then we did this thing called the Polar Bear Patch where we jumped into the pool and swam as many laps as we could in freezing cold water. Thankfully, everyone survived without hypothermia.

AND HERE WE ARE ABOUT TWENTY TWO HOURS LATER!

Hooray! I finally remembered to blog. Okay, now let's get to business.

Yesterday, I played Super Mario 3D World. I got to World 3 easy as pie.

I also got Super Mario Maker in October. It is awesome. I already made 10 levels.

And here's the mind-blower: I am now not only a video game player, but a video game designer and coder. I started my design career in August with this thing called Game-star Mechanic. You just go through a comic story, building and editing pre-made levels as you go. You can even make your own levels.

Then I went off to this thing called Scratch. It's a website where you can make just about anything you want happen. I made 7 games, 6 of them being shared. The one that isn't shared is based off of Kirby's Adventure. I got the basic controls (minus inhaling and floating) done, as well as enemy movements, but that's it.

HERE WE ARE SEVEN MONTHS LATER...

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. You know you're slacking off when you realize you forgot to blog for a solid seven months and had the time to beat Paper Mario and make a bunch of awesome video games in between. I really need to keep a schedule.

I really did beat Paper Mario, though. I also got almost every single secret exit in Super Mario World, save for the last bit of the Valley of Bowser. I also beat the Special World: without getting a game over. (Okay, I had 40 lives, but not many people have beaten it without getting a game over, right?)

I'm in 8th grade now, and it's okay. I got all A's and B's in my classes, and most of them are accelerated classes (middle school term for honors classes).

I also made a bunch of new games on the computer. I mean real video games.
